Environmental Management System

Metal recycling at our Birr facility is permitted by the Local Authority. See below for a copy of Waste Permit WFP-T-16-0001-01.

Our fleet of collection vehicles operates in accordance with National Waste Collection Permit NWCPO-08-01118-02. See below for an uptodate copy of this permit.

MSM is certified to ISO 9001:2008 in accordance with End of Waste Regulation EU 333/2011. MSM also operates an integrated Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety management system which comply's with the requirements set out by ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
